"Alright, your turn," I told him, and within a couple of holes he too was hooked up with something heavier and stronger than the whitefish he'd been catching so enthusiastically. I waded out to net it, and again was blown away by the vivid colors of the fish. Both fish were kyped out, colored up, gnarly males. After landing his fish we were both totally satisfied, we'd found what we came for.
We continued fishing for the rest of our half day, and I managed to land one more awesome Brown, this time a female to go with the males. The day was a success, we'd found these elusive fish and proven the myths true.
